Reamers: Reamers allow you to produce a loose (press) fit, “somewhat” tight (slip) fit, or loose (Free Running) fit between components. *Reamers are needed for all Easy Engineering Series Products The holes in plastic components (pulleys, link strips, etc.) come small so that wood dowels and plastic pins fit tightly into them. The small reamer slightly enlarges the hole in a component- allowing wood dowels and plastic pins easily slide through the hole when pushed, but otherwise stay in place. The large reamer greatly enlarges the hole in a component- allowing wood dowels and plastic pins freely rotate and slide in the hole. Easy Cutters: Easy Cutters provide a safe and simple way to cut plastic link strips, dowels, and wood strips. They are designed to work with small and large hands (students from elementary school to college).
