Sometimes you need your components fit tightly together, other times you need them to slide or rotate. Reamer drills allow you to create these various fits between your components.

Large and small reamers are included in each reamer pack. The holes in plastic components (pulleys, link strips, etc.) come small so that wood dowels and plastic pins fit tightly into them. The small reamer slightly enlarges the hole in a component- allowing wood dowels and plastic pins easily slide through the hole when pushed, but otherwise stay in place. The large reamer greatly enlarges the hole in a component- allowing wood dowels and plastic pins freely rotate and slide in the hole.
